Dr's Stegman and Prupas completed their veterinary degrees at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Lisa in 1994, Jeremy in 1995). Married in 1996, they decided to move to San Diego in 1997 and purchased the All Care Cat Hospital in early 1998. Their son Justin was born in March 2004.
